In the framework of the cultural route “Via Querinissima” (www.viaquerinissima.net), Cretatour DMC and 3Win Action have planned the first dedicated organised daily tour which will help participants to discover the importance of the presence of the Republic of Venice on the island, from 1211 to 1669. In particular, the tour offers the possibility to follow the steps of Pietro Querini, a nobleman who - thanks to the commerce of Malvasia wine - managed to travel north until the Arctic bringing back with him the stockfish: the same “bacaliaros” which since the 15th century is found on every European table.More Info
